Education
PACKAGED GRANT opportunity
1.Fully funded by TRF and strategic partner UNESCO-IHE.
2.Euro 25,000 grant covers tuition, room and board, books and materials.
3.Eligible Rotary year 2013-14 onwards.
UNESCO-IHE Scholarship
• Three eligible 18-month Master of Science degree programs for Water and Sanitation professionals:
1.Msc in Urban Water and Sanitation2.Msc in Water Management3.Msc in Water Science and Engineering
UNESCO-IHE Institute for Water Education
• Largest post-graduate water education institution in the world to tackle the world's water and sanitation crisis.
• Located at Delft, The Netherlands
Salient Features
• Scholarships are on global competitive basis and only EIGHT will be awarded for academic year 2013-14. (Submit applications early!)
• Applications must be received through the new on-line system and will be approved in the order in which TRF receives completed applications.
• To be received no later than July 15 of the year in which studies begin.
Conditions
• Only ONE scholarship per year per Club/District will be offered.
• The candidate must FIRST apply and be admitted to UNESCO-IHE before approaching the Rotary Club for scholarship application. Therefore, admitted candidates cannot be guaranteed scholarship if the TRF funds for 8 scholarships are all used up.
Requirement
• The candidate must be sponsored by at least one Rotary Club or District near where the scholar intends to work or live after completion of study.
• The candidate must return (to Thailand/Cambodia) and it is compulsory for them to carry out a Water/Sanitation project with the sponsor Rotary Club/District.
