Our Trevira CS fabrics, as of January 2012, are now Ecolabel Certified! The Ecolabel, certifies products that meet the highest standards of both performance and environmental quality. Every product awarded the Ecolabel must pass rigorous testing, with results certified by an independent body. Other environmental labels cover specific environmental concerns, but the Ecolabel stands for low environmental and health impacts throughout a product’s life cycle from cradle to grave and must pass rigorous performance standards.

• Bogesunds’ Trevira CS fabrics, by virtue of their fiber structure, are inherently and permanently flame resistant meeting building fire regulations without the addition of flame retardant agents that can damage the environment.

• Bogesunds’ Trevira fabrics are washable for easy care and the fact that they can be washed at temperature as high as 140°F; they are ideal for health care settings. When washing these fabrics they require 36 % less water as compared to cotton materials and use less detergent because the fibers absorb less water; and due the fabric’s durability, tendency not to soil, and easy stain removal less care is needed.
