has been influenced by consumer demand but

everything trend of wearable in fashion is based on the

functions of it-designers, stores, factory workers, the

press, publicists, salespersons ,fit models, runway

models, couture models, artists. In simplest terms, the

fashion industry could be described as the business of

making clothes. But the end the fashion incorporates

its own prejudices of style, individual taste, and

cultural evolution.

The main feature of the Victorian

epoch was the mix of the best of

other styles. Victorian Era was a

style of ornamentation.

In the Victoria society emergence of

conditions and social classes , in this

age , firstly the sewing machine had

JAZZ AGE 1920-1930

different looks, and fashion changed very quickly,

In 1947, Paris fashion designer Christian Dior

launched his revolutionary “New Look” . this

new vogue was a feminine sophisticates style

made from new artificial fabrics such as nylon,

Courtelle, polyester, and acrylic became popular

in the 1950s and 1960s.

emerge across the land.

There were many events such as war in Vietnam, Cold

War and the nuclear arms race, despite the invention of

sexual life. There was a sense freedom and rebels manner

in young people ‘s behavior.

The fashion took influence by early twentieth century

and featuring long, flowing skirts, frills, and flounces.

Hippies found inspiration in Eastern philosophies,

particularly from India, the clothes were made from

natural fabrics ,Artificial fibers cotton, linen, hemp, and

wool .

Fashion in the 1970s went through an

experimental phase after the

psychedelic-style clothing from the

‘60s but at middle of 70s disco was

the mode, people enjoyed dancing

bell-bottom jeans, shiny polyester

always be associated with the disco era

excess, there was “high fashion,” from New

York, Paris, Milan, and London.

the shape of fashion was a masculine look,

conclusion everything was the bigger the

better. Big hair, heavy makeup, pounds of

metal jewelry and pearls, and mixed bright

colors are trademark styles of 80’s fashion.
