The activity aims to strengthen the friendshi p of the members between the JPIChE-XU and PIChE-CdO. 09 Expected Number of Audience/ Participants: Actual Number of Audience/ Participants: 10 Were your objectives met? Yes 43 11 The participants were able to plant trees, tour the plant, and at the same time strengthen the friendship between the participants. 12 Please rate how well your activity was implemented (5 being the highest) 5 I. PRE-IMPLEMENTATION STAGE The highlight of the meetings while planning the project was mainly thesource of budget. It was then decided that every participant will give his/her own counterpart. Another highlight of the meeting was determining the number of students who could join the said event. Lastly, the ways and means of transportation was discussed. II. IMPLEMENTATION STAGE Upon arrival to the venue, a member of staff gave a brief lecture on the processes involved in purif ying water from ariver to a potable one.Questions from the students were also entertained and answered. The staff s then guided us to the main plants and control rooms which allowed us to see a bigger picture of how water was purif ied. Subsequently, we were guided to the tree planting venue just a few walk from the main off ice. Despite of the very hot weather, the participants helped hand in hand in planting trees to aid in preserving Mother Earth.
