Why is the global treasury function so important?

Global treasurers must manage cash and financial risks in an environment of increasing volatility, uncertainty, and complexity, all with limited budget, resources, and staffing. They tackle critical treasury issues including cash visibility, bank management, access to cash, investments, safety/controls, financial risks, and technology – all to strengthen organizational effectiveness and impact global communities.

Who comprises the Treasurers Roundtable?

The Treasurers Roundtable is a consortium of treasury leaders from organizations operating in developing countries. Founded in 2011, the Roundtable has grown to 122 treasury professionals from 76 organizations including non-governmental organizations (NGOs), universities, and foundations, representing over $37 billion (USD) in annual revenues.

How can I get involved?

• Members share relevant treasury experiences, challenges, and solutions.

• Sponsors connect into the premier network of treasury leaders from mission-driven global organizations.

• Government policy makers, regulators, and institutional donors learn about the nuanced dynamics of treasury operations in developing countries..

What does the Treasurers Roundtable offer?

The Treasurers Roundtable offers thought leadership in global treasury management in the areas of:

• Education – Events with peers and industry leaders in pursuit of collaborations and practical solutions

• Networks – Frank conversations within a safe community

• Advocacy – Active engagement with banks, governments, and treasury specialists
