1. The state Government of Sabah has expanded the travel restrictions (all points of entry by air, sea or by land) to the followings: a. Malaysian citizens (non-residents of Sabah), all

5 SARAWAK, MALAYSIA

1. Sarawak State Government has issued following travel/entry restriction as follows:

a. All Foreigners (irrespective of nationalities)

who have been to Mainland China, South Korea, Italy and Iran in the past 14 days will be REFUSED entry into the state.

b. All Malaysians (non-resident of Sarawak) who have been to Mainland China, South Korea, Italy and Iran in the last 14 days are strongly advised NOT to visit Sarawak.

2. All visitors from COVID-19 affected countries

and regions such as France, Spain, Germany, United States of America, Japan, Singapore, Indonesia, Brunei Darussalam and West Malaysia are to adhere to precautionary

guidelines issued by the Sarawak Health Department at all Point Of Entry.

a. Passengers entering Singapore who have

fever and/or other symptoms of respiratory illness may be required to undergo a COVID-19 swab test upon arrival. They may carry on with their journey immediately after undergoing the test, and will be contacted on their swab test results. Those with positive results will be conveyed to the hospital in a dedicated ambulance.

b. Short-term , who refuse to undergo the test, will be denied entry into Singapore. Permanent Residents and long-term pass holders, who refuse testing, may have their immigration facilities and work pass privileges revoked, or the validity shortened. Passengers, including Singapore Citizens, who do not comply with the testing or who cannot be contacted after the test, may face

facilities. Under the SHN, they will have to remain in their place of residence at all times for a 14-day period after returning to Singapore.

Note: This is to avoid passenger to be stranded at HKG if there is any problem when making their onward connecting flight at HKIA such as refusal acceptance by the airlines. 4. Mandatory Quarantine

12 NEW ZEALAND

2. Any foreign passengers who leave or transit through People’s Republic of China (PRC) after 2 February 2020 (NZ time) WOULD BE REFUSED ENTRY to New Zealand.

3. Immigration New Zealand has extended the current border

restrictions for passengers who have been in PRC by 8 days to 24th

February.

4. This decision to deny boarding or refuse entry does not apply to New Zealand citizens, permanent residents, residents with valid travel conditions and their immediate family, who will still be able to come to New Zealand. Australian citizens and permanent residents are also not subject to the travel restrictions if New Zealand is their primary place of established residence.

above exemptions disembarks to the Philippines for other reasons, the person shall automatically be excluded and immediately sent back to the port of origin as stated in the

restriction. In the event of unavailability of return flight, the person shall be placed under quarantine or respective designated area.

d. Filipino Citizens and Permanent Status holders of the Philippines

who will be arriving from these flights shall be turned over to the

Quarantine Bureau together with their arrival cards including flight crew. Foreign nationals who are unable to board the return (turnaround) flight shall be included in the quarantine.

e. Filipinos who are travelling to CHINA and its Special

Administrative Regions (SAR) – MACAU and HONG KONG

Filipinos and Permanent Resident Visa holders coming from any place in CHINA and its Special Administrative Regions (SAR) – MACAU and HONG KONG

3. Exemption shall be granted in favour of the following classes of passengers:

a. All returning Filipinos

including their foreign spouse/children, if any, holders of Permanent Resident Visas, and holders of 9(e) Diplomat Visas traveling from China, Hong Kong-SAR, and Macau-SAR shall be allowed entry into the Philippines. Provided that the 14-day quarantine requirement based on existing guidelines by the Department of Health must be strictly observed;

b. Permanent residents

of Hong Kong and Macau SARs and Filipinos leaving abroad for study shall be allowed to travel to
