basic life insurance through UO/PEBB. If you or a dependent becomes ill while traveling 100 or more miles from home.

– Does not cover security evacuation (war/political unrest or natural disaster)

When “study abroad insurance” is highly recommended:

– Traveling with students– Concerns about destination (natural disaster,

security)– Medical concerns/expenses (expenses may be paid

up front by this insurer)
