Introduction• Transport key for promoting economic growth,

connectivity, access to trade thereby promoting sustainable development and addressing poverty.

• Transport contribution to GHG emissions• Transport contributed 13% of South Africa‘s

• The EPWP has secured funding for infrastructure projects, specifically road projects and it is envisaged that some funding will be used to create green jobs in these projects
