Transport Investing in Regions

• Strengthening transport’s regional presence is crucial to meet the growth in regional areas and deliver on the new Government’s agenda of bringing services and decisions closer to the people of regional Victoria.

• This will be achieved through the implementation of a new integrated regional model for transport

• The new integrated regional model includes new regional Department of Transport (DOT) staff in each region

• The new regional staff provide extra capacity for DOT in regional Victoria to work more closely with local government, stakeholders and communities.

• Be conduits for central DOT program areas
