BRISBANE CITY COUNCIL: ROUTES 152 / 870 – STRETTON / VILLANOVA COLLEGE MORNING SERVICE: Villanova Students may board Route 152 departing Stretton (Harrison Street) at 6.35 a.m. to Garden City Interchange. Bus stops at all designated Brisbane City Council stops along the route between Stretton (Harrison Street)(6.35 a.m.); Penson St; Lexton St; Compton Rd; Inter.Compton/Gowan(6.40 a.m.); Calam Rd(6.42 a.m.); Loop Gowan Rd to Nemies Rd; Runcorn West; Brandon Rd; Gowan Rd; Inter.Gowan/Beenleigh Rds(6.48 a.m.); Beenleigh Rd; Fruitgrove Station; Bonemill Rd; Dew St; Leopardwood St; Daw Rd; Warrigal Rd; Underwood Rd, Gaskell Rd, Logan Rd to Garden City Interchange(7.20a.m.) Students REMAIN on the bus which then becomes the 870 Villanova bus picking up Villanova Students and departing Platform M Garden City Interchange at 7.45a.m. and arriving at Villanova College Sixth Avenue at approx. 8.20 a.m. AFTERNOON SERVICE: On the return journey students would catch one of the two 870 buses immediately outside the College in Sixth Avenue. To reduce crowding one leaves at 3.15 p.m. the other at 3.20 p.m. the outbound Route 152 leaves Garden City at 4.30 p.m. There are a number of other services from Garden City that might also be appropriate and more conveniently timed e.g. 132; 150. TRANSINFO on 131230 would give details that fit exact travel requirements. Passengers can transfer free from one bus to another provided the fare is correct for the ENTIRE journey and that the transfer is made within 2 hours of boarding the first bus. These happen automatically with 10 Trip Saver tickets, but the driver will have to be asked if a single trip transfer is required.
ROUTE 870 (2 buses on the
afternoon run)
GARDEN CITY. 870 Garden City Council bus direct to Villanova College leaves Garden City Bay “M” at 7.45 a.m. picks up at all Council stops along Logan Rd, Montague, R; Old Cleveland Rd, to front of College (Sixth Ave). To reduce crowding in the afternoon 1 bus Leaves at 3.15 p.m. and another at 3.20 p.m. both from in front of the College in Sixth Ave, then via Pembroke Rd, right Upper Cornwall St, right Chatsworth Rd, left Logan Rd and follows usual route.
ROUTE 203 This services runs from Carindale to Buzacott St, Gallipoli, Old Cleveland and Jones Rds then Samuel St and the normal route to Martha St/Newnham Ave, Leicester St and Old Cleveland Rds, O’Keefe St. Ipswich Rd and Stanley St to the Valley via the City.
ROUTE 204 This service will commence from the Clem Jones Centre at Zahel St Carina then travel via Meadowlands Rd and Baynes St to Carindale Shopping Centre and continue on via Winstanley St, Gallipoli and Old Cleveland Roads to the Valley via the City. Please Note: The 7:20 a.m. Clem Jones Centre Carina to City/Valley 204 service weekdays will extend during school terms to commence from Tingalpa Hotel Cityxpress Stop outbound Wynnum Road 7:00 a.m. via usual 215 route through Belmont to Meadowlands Road then via Creek and Stanley Roads and Adelaide Street to depart as usual at 7.20 a.m. from Clem Jones Centre. Students alight at Stop 20 Old Cleveland Road. This service provides a link between Tingalpa/Belmont to schools in the Carina and Coorparoo areas.
ROUTE 894 (2 buses)
Both buses depart outside College in Sixth Avenue at 3.20 p.m. travelling to Cribb Rd East via Carindale. This bus travels the exact express route as City Express Route 200. Students are not to catch the public City Express Route 200. All other students not requiring express route are to travel via Route 895.

Leaves outside College in Sixth Avenue at 3.15 p.m. travelling via usual 204 route to Carindale Bus Station “I” then via Carindale St., Bedivere St., (L) Meadowlands Rd and (R) Creek Rd to Cannon Hill.

ROUTES Route 124 (extended to terminate at Sunnybank Plaza) and Route 125 which will travel via Salisbury Railway Station and Griffith University (Nathan Campus) to Garden City to connect with Villanova 870 Garden City bus at 7.30 a.m. Return bus from Villanova at 3.35 p.m.
ROUTES: 175, (174 travels from Garden City via Mt Gravatt-Capalaba Rd, Tryon St, Newnham, Creek and Logan Roads to the Valley).
ROUTE 878 3.20 p.m. from Coorparoo Junction to travel via Cavendish, Creek, Greenmeadows and Creek Rds, Pine Mountain Rd, Scrub Rd to Cribb Rd Round-A-Bout Scrub Rd, Winstanley St, Carindale St, Millennium Blvd., Bedivere St, Tristan St, Meadowlands Rd, Creek Rd, Stanley St to Wiles St.
ROUTE 161 Wishart Outlook: Route 870 service departs Villanova at 3.15 p.m. and 3.20 p.m. to Garden City Interchange where a transfer may be made to the Wishart Outlook Service No 161 departing at 3.53 p.m. The first stop is opposite the caravan park (Nardie Street) then Holmead Road (end of run).

Queensland Rail offer specially discounted tickets for primary andsecondary school students travelling to and from school.
School Rail Passes may cover single or return travel for either a semesteror a whole year.
To take advantage of the discounted fare, collect an application form from your nearest attended Queensland Rail station. Take the completed form toyour nearest attended Queensland Rail station or fax it to (07) 3235 1124 or email: [email protected].
All customers are required to be in possession of a valid ticket for theirjourney prior to boarding a train, unless the departure station is unattendedand the Ticket Vending Machine is inoperable.
If your School Rail Pass is lost or stolen, go to your local Queensland Rail station and complete a declaration form. A replacement fee applies. Phone 3235 2810
