The controller parameters and configuration data are arranged on several levels for easy programming and operation. The levels are protected against unauthorized access by codewords. Membrane keys provide simple and user-friendly operation. The two LED dis-plays indicate parameter symbols and corres-ponding values.

1. Enabling the operating level

● Instrument in measurement mode (Fig. 1) protected against unauthorized opera-tion by codeword

● Press key ,hold down untilCod.E appears

● Using the arrow keys setcodeword for operating leveland enter with (Fig. 2)

● Press key instrumentjumps back to measurementmode

2. Calibrationwith 2 buffer solutions

● Start calibration by pressingand simultaneously

● Set temperature of buffer solution with arrow keys(manual temperature compensation), or indication ofmeasured buffer temperature (automatic temperature com-pensation) (Fig. 3)

● Enter with

● CAL 1: immerse electrode in first buffer solution. As soon as reading is steady, adjustindication with arrow keysto buffer pH, enter with (Fig. 4)

● CAL 2: use buffer 2, repeat asfor CAL.1 (Fig. 5)
