Before you can start work . . .

Before you can start working for Transline Group on any site, you will be required to sit an English test and an Occupational Test.

These tests will involve questions that test your written English, and your understanding of English. They will also test your mathematical skills, attention to detail and potentially your knowledge of working within a warehouse environment.

Although these tests are not difficult, you should ensure you are prepared for them and research warehouse working and brush up on your English skills.

If you do not pass these tests, you will not be placed in to work.

Our jobs do not require any experience unless stated otherwise

You will also receive PRE-DEPARTURE training. 1 day training in Poland1 day training in classroom in UK1 day on the job training

This will prepare you for your new job in UK

Some sites will require only one day training and some will require up to 4 weeks training.

Full details of your expected training programme will give to you along with your job offer

Mobile Phone Technician:•Basic Repairs•Dismantling and building phones•Flashing memory•Running Diagnostics•Soldering All positions involve working to high targets (KPI’s).You will be given a target of number of phones you need to repair every hour. Target will be dependent on complexity of the repair.

National Insurance Number…

Your National Insurance number is a unique number allocated to you only.

You retain the number for your whole life.

It makes sure that the National Insurance contributions and tax you pay are properlyrecorded against your name. It also acts as a reference number when communicating with the Department for Work and Pensions and HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC).If you start work or set up on a self-employed basis, you must apply for a National Insurancenumber if you do not already have one. If you have the right to work in the UK, you will needto telephone Jobcentre Plus on 0845 600 0643 to arrange your National Insurance Number. Lines are open 8.00 am to 6.00 pm Monday to Friday and are normally less busy before 9am.

You may be required to attend an 'Evidence of identity' interview.You must apply for a National Insurance number to start work but you don't need to have aplastic National Insurance number card. You must however have some social proof of your National Insurance number before you can start work.

Bank Account

When you work in the UK, you are required to open a UK bank account to allowpayment, and prevent issues with TAX and NI payments.

There are many banks to choose from within the UK, and you should visit a branch of your required bank and ask them for help in opening an account. You must have your ID documentation with you when applying to open a bank account.

If you have any problems locating a bank branch, please speak to a member of the TG team who will endeavour to help you.

Most Banks will open account for free but you should always read T&C before signing the agreement.

The cost of living . . .

The cost of living in the UK obviously differs to the cost of living in other countries. Some items are more expensive, and you may also struggle to find other items.

There are European shops located throughout the UK, so once you settle in to the UK, you should ask around and find out where these are, to purchase any specialised items you may require.

There are various supermarkets across the country, such as ASDA, Sainsburys, Tesco, Morrisons, Lidl, Aldi etc... These shops all sell groceries, fresh fruit and vegetables, frozen goods and alcohol. Most places sell cigarettes and have Pay Points for topping up your mobile phone, paying bills or transferring money.

Accommodation . . .

TRG will not provide you with accommodation for when you arrive in the UK. You must arrange this yourself.

www.google.com is a very helpful website, on which you can search for Landlords in the area within the UK to which you intend to relocate.

Your TRG representative may be able to provide you with details of companies which may be able to help you source accommodation within the UK, however these companies are not representatives of TRG, and you must deal with them directly and not through TRG.

What will happen now?

If you are still interested in working for TG in the UK, you will now go through the following processes:-

Complete an application pack

Interview with the TG consultant. The interview will be conducted in English.

If successful, you will be informed of a start date, site address and contact details for the TG team who will be

placing you in to work and furnished with useful information on settling in to the UK.

You should arrange your transport to the UK, once you have received a confirmed start date.

You should ensure you have accommodation for when you arrive in the UK.

Once you arrive in the UK and go to complete your registration and have your 2nd interview with the on-site

TG team, you will be tested on your English, mathematics, attention to detail etc. If you fail these tests, you may

not be allocated any work. Please ensure you study prior to departure for England!
