Shockwave, the deadliest of all

Decepticons, has arrived on Earth—

leaving a trail of carnage behind him.

While his henchman, Astrotrain, builds

something in a secluded forest,

Shockwave—working under the

command of the Decepticon leader,

Megatron— violently persuades the

rogue Starscream to send his forces

after a drone called Brains. Seeking

protection, Brains makes his way to

the human Sam Witwicky and his

Autobot friends Bumblebee and

Wheelie, who are attacked by

Starscream’s forces. 

Autobot leader Optimus Prime

responds to Sam’s distress call,

sending in the Autobots Wheeljack and

Mirage to help, while the rest of the

Autobot forces—as well as the human

NEST squad, an international military

unit—assemble. But Prime has another

plan in motion—mistakenly believing

that Brains escaped from Starscream’s

base, Prime sees an opportunity to end

Starscream’s operations. Against his

better judgement, his estranged friend

Elita-One and her psychically-linked

sisters, Chromia and the injured Arcee,

volunteer for the mission.

As Prime’s assault squad heads toward

Philadelphia, a small unit of Autobots

remain with NEST’s Director Galloway,

to guard a group of shell-shocked

Autobot refugees and a recently-

captured Decepticon prisoner…
