WORKSHOP TUTORIAL How to visit and interact with our workshop programs at the 2020 Virtual TOW Conference. Log in to the virtual conference platform. If the workshop you desire to attend is happening now or very soon, it will be on the list on the front page of the main Lobby. To access the workshops if you are in the Exhibit Hall, you may see the workshop you are interested in. You may not see it because there is a recommendation algorithm that will move content into your view. If you can’t find what you are looking for, there are two other ways to find it. • Click on the Schedule at the bottom of the Exhibit Hall Page. This schedule shows current and past events. • Or click on the dropdown menu under “Exhibit Hall” and choose the day and time your workshop would be. Every box that is not the day/time you choose will disappear. INSIDE THE WORKSHOP ROOM If you come here when the workshop is live, it will be streaming in the center screen. If you come after the workshop has gone live, there will be a replayable video. If you attend the workshop live, you will be able to interact with the workshop moderator and the other participants. The EZ Chat will show up for you to contribute to the conversation through text. It operates like a normal chat room. There will be a moderator and you can ask questions as well to the speaker(s). ** Note this most likely won’t happen but if you are noticing that the chat dialogue is not matching the content of your workshop, you may need to check the channel you are on by clicking on the button with these three lines to see the room details. If you are in the wrong chat channel, click on the three lines and choose the appropriate channel.

To close the chat, click on the red “X”
Accessing Handouts or PowerPoints
Click on “Handouts”
You will see this screen. Click on the handout link and it will open in another tab. Be aware that when it downloads it will open into another tab and you will be able to click out of that and return to the main workshop tab.
TECH FAQ
When you come into the Tech FAQ booth you will see this video in the center. To see additional videos, click on the “Additional Videos” link on the right.
Then you can click on a question you might have regarding the conference.
If you have a tech question, come here first and see if Steve has answered it already. If all of your tech questions are not answered by the videos, you can also call 408-805-9498 to talk to our administrator Lisa about any problems that may arise.
