RECOMMENDED MINIMUM DILUTION Mg FLAKESBATH: 1 or 2 cups. FOOTSOAK: 1 or 2 dessertspoons. Mg OIL for MASSAGE or COMPRESS: 50g or 60g per 100ml water. If skin is sensitive dilute with more water or plant oil.MOUTHWASH: 1 teaspoon per 250-350ml purified water. MINERAL WATER for BETTER HYDRATION: To mineralise filtered drinking water add a small pinch (about 1/2 gram) to one litre.CAUTION Avoid direct contact with eyes and sensitive areas when flakes are undiluted. If you experience a stinging sensation, dilute further.

HOW MUCH TO USE? As much as you like until it feels better! Skin is a reservoir which stores nutrients for uptake as needed to maintain homeo-static balance (like the soil does for plants). The presence of fats enhances skin absorpton. Combine products to suit individual needs and skin types. Some people may need 1,000mg or more of daily magnesium (3 times more than average) depend-ing on stress levels. Our daily needs can also fluctuate.Topical application of magne-sium allows the body to choose what it takes up without having to digest supplements.Transdermal magnesium is a better way to provide optimal magnesium.

ELEKTRA MAGNESIUM OIL SPRITZ is a heavy duty water-based magnesium oil spray, which can be used to add higher doses of magnesium as needed. Our proprietary formulation glides on smoothly, absorbing well without leaving a sticky or stingy residue on the skin surface (as straight magnesium oil may do). Smells great with essential oils of Mandarin, Juniperberry Himalayan and Rosalina.

Application: Use Elektra Magnesium Cream as moisturizing and protective skin care once or twice a day all over the body, face, or as deodorant. It also helps to recover from itchy inflamed skin or sunburn due to its rich antioxidant nutritional ingredients. Rub into skin in a circular motion to help the oils and butters penetrate and engorge the dry flat skin cells. The better condition the skin the easier it is for magnesium to be absorbed. Avoid eye area or broken skin. Thin sensitive skin may feel a tingling sensation as magnesium salts deliver ionic bio-electrical charge. Skin sensations, if they occur, are only temporary and a tolerance is built up over time. You can add any kind of extra plant oil (eg. coconut, rosehip, jojoba, avocado etc) on top of the magnesium cream to dilute if required. Lipids help to numb the sensation of the salts. Use as MASSAGE cream to stimulate blood flow, oxygenation and circulation, relax tight muscles and joints, and relieve symptoms of stress. Massage on abdomen relieves period pain and on muscles relieves cramp.

WHY TRANSDERMAL MAGNESIUM?Oral magnesium supplements are more difficult to digest and absorb, with a potentially laxative effect which wastes most of the magnesium. The small amount that gets through the gut wall can take several hours to reach muscle cells. Magnesium chloride however is the most bio-available form of magnesium and works fast because it is already in the right form for cells once hydrated.

TECHNICAL: Magnesium Chloride Hexahydrate (food grade) 98% MgCl2.6H20 is minimum 47% magnesium chloride attached to 6 water molecules plus trace elements. pH=7 in solution. Keep air tight to avoid flakes drawing moisture from the air, or add water to store as magnesium oil.

DETOX: Some individuals may experience temporary detox reactions when first starting transdermal magnesium as magnesium can displace toxins. Apply less to start with and increase slowly. Drink plenty of Mg mineral water to hydrate well and flush toxins. Consult a health practitioner experienced with detoxification strategy if symptoms persist.
