201. W Harell To J. B. Harell

This Indenture made this 27th day of November in the year of Our Lord One thousand Eight hundred and forty nine Between William Harrell of the County of Claiborne and State of Tennessee of the first part and Jerome B. Harrell of the County of Harrison and State of Indiana of the Second part, Witnesseth that said party of the first part for and in consideration of Five dollars current money of the United States to him in hand paid, the receipt whereof is herby acknowledged, has granted bargained and Sold and by these presents do, grand bargain and Sell unto the Said party of the Second part and unto his heirs and assigns forever All my right title interest and claim in and to a certain tract lot or parcel of land Situate lying and being in the County of Harrison and State of Indiana and described as the North East quarter of NW qr Section Seventeen, in Township Three South of Range Four East containing Forty acres more or less Said interest title and claim being the One undivided tenth part of the one undivided third part of Said tract of land. To have and to hold the Said undivided tenth part of the One undivided third part of said tract lot or parcel of land, with all its appurtenances unto the Said party of the Second part his heirs and assigns to his and their only proper use and behoof forever, And the Said party of the first part covenants and agrees with the Said party of the Second part his heirs and assigns that he is Seized of a good Sure perfect and indefeasible state in fee Simple of in and to Said undivided tenth part of the one undivided third part of Said tract lot or parcel of land with all its appurtenances that he has full power and lawful authority to Sell and convey the Same to Said party of the Second part and to his heirs and assigns forever, that he will and his heirs executors, and administrators Shall warrant and forever defend the Said undivided tenth part of the one undivided third part of Said tract lot or parcel of land, with all its appurtenances unto Said party of the Second part and to his heirs and assigns against all and every person or persons whomsoever lawfully claiming or to claim the Same.

In Testimony Whereof the Said party of the first part have hereunto Set his hand and Seal on the day and year first above written,

Be it Known that on this day personally appeared before me the undersigned Recorder in and for the County aforesaid William Harrell, Known to me to be the grantor named in the foregoing deed of Conveyance and acknowledged the Signing Sealing and delivery thereof to be his voluntary act and deed for the uses and purposes therein expressed. In Witness Whereof Therein to subscribe my name and affix my Seal of Office at Corydon this 27th day of November 1849.

202. W. Harrell To Jas Patterson,

This Indenture made this 27th day of November in the year of Our Lord One thousand eight hundred and forty nine between William Harrell of the County of Claiborne and State of Tennessee of the first part and James Patterson of the County of Harrison and State of Indiana of the Second part Witnesseth that Said party of the first part for and in consideration of Twenty two and an half dollars current dollars current money of the United States to him in had paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have granted bargained and Sold and by these presents do grant bargain and Sell unto the Said party of the Second part, and unto his heirs and assigns forever All my rights title interest and claim in and to a certain tract lot or parcel of land Situate lying and being in the County of Harrison and State of Indiana and described as the North West quarter of the North West quarter of Section Seventeen in Township Three South of Range Four East the Said right title interest and claim being the one undivided Tenth part of Said tract of land To have and to hold the one undivided tenth part of Said tract lot or parcel of land with all its appurtenances unto the Said party of the Second part his heirs and assigns to his and their only proper use and behoof forever, And the Said party of the first part covenants and agrees with the Said party of the Second part his heirs and assigns that he is Seized of a good Sure perfect and indefeasible state in fee Simple of in and to the one undivided Tenth part of Said tract lot or parcel of land with all its appurtenances, that he has full power and lawful authority to Sell and convey the Same to Said party of the Second part and to his heirs and assigns forever, that he will and his heirs executors and administrators Shall warrant and forever defend the on undivided tenth part of Said tract lot or parcel of land with all its appurtenances unto Said party of the Second part and to his heirs and assigns against all and every person or persons whomsoever lawfully claiming or to claim the Same.
