What is telemedicine ? Telemedicine is the use of telecommunications to

facilitate health care.This could mean using technologies as simple as phone lines , fax machines , and e-mail , or the use of more sophisticated as computers, scanners , cameras , and various diagnostic tools that can instantly communicate information between two or more distant sites.
