supporting vulnerable and excluded learners

young people from vulnerable and excluded groups to inform

marketing tools, plus video engagement of SMEs

• KM Training – web-based eligibility resources, app to enable

better management of work placements

• Grantham College – CPD resources and “communities of

practice” to facilitate collaborative staff development

• St Helens Chamber – Employer Task Force focusing on

SME engagement plus good practice manual

• HIT Training – Work placement employer resources

including advice guides and factsheets, workshops on conflict

management and supporting vulnerable learners

• Bedford College – Staff self-assessment tools and cascade

workshop templates

• Cambridge Regional College – 5 x “How to...” guides

focusing on contextualised and embedded resources and

approaches to learning

• In Touch Care – Online CPD courses with quality standard

supportive documentation and a package of IA tools.

Working Group agrees the brand logo following a design competition.

‘Modern English’ the digital design agency appointed to design, build and launch My

Pocket Tutor. This followed a tender brief and competitive process including, a two stage

interview process and references.
