All the land within the watershed drains toward the Jones Falls River, then into the Inner Harbor and out to the Chesapeake Bay. Find out more about the watershed on the other side of this map. The map provides context for the Jones Falls Trail. Nine miles of the almost 11-mile trail are already in place, descending from the Mt Washington neighborhood to the Inner Harbor. The northern section, Cylburn Arboretum through Druid Hill Park, is nature-filled; the southern 4 miles, connecting to Penn Station and down to the Baltimore Visitors Center, is a more urban experience. Think of the Trail as the spine from which to access green recreation, commerce, culture and sustainable lifestyle activities. Below, find listings of only some of the many possibilities. This map covers the Baltimore City portion of the Jones Falls Watershed and highlights its many assets – its natural, cultural, and environmentally-conscious daily living resources.

For more, visit http://baltogreenmap.org
