Alongside our giant Snowdogs are a pack of snow puppies created by local schools as part of our schools programme. The gorgeous snow puppies will be displayed in Brighton Museum & Art Gallery, Hove Museum, Hove Library, Booth Museum and Jubilee Library throughout the time the trail is live.

Snowdogs by the Sea is an extraordinary, free, public art event in Brighton & Hove for all to enjoy. Martlets Hospice has teamed up with Wild in Art to fill the streets with giant Snowdogs individually decorated by artists and generously sponsored by local businesses and organisations.

The Snowdogs trail has been designed to be accessible on foot, although local bus and train services easily connect to the outlying Snowdogs, see map for details.

Snowdogs by the Sea runs from 24th September to 27th November and there are lots of special Snowdogs events during that time to take part in.

Martlets is a charity that cares for people living through a terminal illness in and around Brighton & Hove. We’re much more than a hospice and we’re working to change perceptions of hospice care. Today, most of our patients receive care in their own home. Our hospice in Hove is a place where patients and their families can use our therapeutic services, drop-in clinics, visit our in-patient unit or just sit and have a coffee in our café. Our community teams care for people living and dying at home. Families and loved ones are supported into bereavement. We run a 24/7 helpline for free, personal support, this is a collaboration between Martlets and the Sussex Community Trust’s palliative care team. Our care is only free thanks to the generosity of local people; every donation will help us change lives.

Brighton & Hove Buses have arranged a special Snowdogs by the Sea open top bus tour of the city. The tour will take around 1½ hours and will follow our Snowdogs trail. Refreshments will be provided.
