The Hilltoppers won bowl games in football. MTSU built a new stadium and became the biggest college in the State. Cumber-land won baseball Titles. The Sounds jumped to Triple A and a new stadium. Pro soccer announced a new team for our area. Tennessee Tech hired Dewayne Alexander as new head coach. Vol state still turning out good teams in the four major sports. Our group of cours-es stay full. Wonder team in girls softball for Portland, White House, Station Camp. Macon County girls named basketball state champs in tornado short season. New coaches do good jobs for many local high schools. Locals like the great Eddie Sherlin playing our local golf courses. Sports on pro level. College. High school and youth players have never been better. We have the best men. Women youth play-ers in Kentucky and Tennessee right around us. God bless us and protect us.
