in Hertfordshire with cutting edge technologies

and a bespoke operational/communication

Trade Signs was originally established in 1994 and has become one of the

leading trade suppliers of signage to the UK and Ireland sign industries. We

Flat Cut Letters

We offer a wide range of products and services for flat cut lettering ina large range of materials with endless possibilities. Running two main

types of CNC technologies in laser cutting and routering, we are able

to achieve a wide range of finishes to the highest quality, processed

quickly and efficiently in almost any material.

Finishes and MaterialsWe make our letters primarily from stainless

steel, aluminium and acrylic which come

in a wide range of finishes. From brushed/

polished silver and gold stainless steel to

powder coated matt, semi-gloss or gloss, the

possibilities are endless.

We also use materials for special finishes in

brass, copper, bronze and mild steel to create

that unique rustic finish.

LED TechnologyIn our LPFLEX Sign System we have many

years of experience with LEDs and we have

constantly developed the technology further.

Only the highest quality LEDs are used in

LPFLEX and in laboratory tests they only lost

5% of their light output after 10,000 hours

of use, with an initi al light output of 2000cd/

m which makes us the market leader in t his

Sign Trays

One of the most common services that

basic fabricated aluminium sign trays. W

aluminium or stainless steel, we cut, fold

prior to painting or powder coating. All o

folded and welded joining system which

Blank Sign Trays

We can supply blank trays ready for the customer to a

their own graphics/lettering or fully sign written ready

with fixing rails and colour coded screws. One of the m

Projecting SignsWe also manufacture the more simple and cost effective flat

panel systems with brackets and chains to allow t he sign to

swing in the breeze; these can also be cut t o any shape or size

for a bespoke look.

IlluminationProjecting signs are illuminated using a few different methods,

fluorescent tubes and gear trays are being replaced with LED

technology which provides low energy running costs and a

virtually maintenance free sign. From LED tubes to LED trough

lights and the latest in LED light sheet technology we build all

our projecting signs to meet customers needs.

This type of signage is seen in every high

street and on most shop fronts. We construct

a wide variety of fabricated projecting signs

in all sorts of shapes and sizes. The support

structures are usually made from mild steel

or aluminium, depending on their size and

structural requirements.

We then clad them with aluminium or stainless

steel and powder coat them to a finish that is

ready for the customer to signwrite with vinyl,

or we can stencil cut them and illuminate

them with LEDs.

Architectural MetalworkArchitectural Metalwork is a specialist division within the group which

specialises in bespoke and Architectural Metalwork.

Excellence in design, materials and

craftsmanship form the basis of Architectural

Metalwork UK. We have the expertise to

visualise, develop and produce high quality

metalwork in a variety of metals including:

stainless steel, mild steel, brass, copper, bronze

and aluminium.

We can survey, produce CAD drawings and

manufacture all types of metalwork using t he

following engineering processes: fabrication,

welding, CNC machining, laser cutting, water

cutting, powder coating and polishing.

InstallationTrade Signs has dedicated installation crews with first class knowledge

and experience to carry out and fix your bespoke signage to your

premises. Our installation crews will work to a time that suits you

internal or external installations using access equipment sourced and
