In line with the on-going exemplar development workshop of the Project PPE, the following guidelines not reflected in the work manual are hereby laid out. a. Background ( What Is It?/Suriin/Susihon) and Activities ( What I Can Do/Isagawa/Buluhaton/Himuon 1, 2 & 3) • Contents may be culled from any DepEd Developed Learning Resource (DDLR) such as Learner's Materials (LMs), Teaching Guides (TGs), LRs available in the LR Portal and LR Linked (local portal) and other DDLRs (a drive link will be provided online) for as long as due acknowledgment of the source will be made. • Another permissible option is to cite/write the specifics (learning resource title and page/s) in the exemplar. See example below: Example: What I Can Do 1 Refer to the Learner's Material-Let's Get Better in English 3, page 76 • Moreover, the use of third-party materials from textbooks and other copyrighted materials shall proceed with caution as this requires permission from copyright owners. c. Answer Key • It contains answers to all activities in the exemplar. It shall be
written upside down. Adjust font size to 9.
d . Background Color Code • The exemplar grade level identifier in Mother Tongue (MTB-MLE)
shall be white.
e. Cover Art for Key Stage 1 • To unify, cover art used in the exemplar models and dummies of
said key stage available in the Google drive shall be followed.
f. Portfolio Prototypes • The portfolio assessment models to be uploaded in the Google drive
shall serve only as prototypes. These prototypes shall be contextualized per learning area, keeping the elemental parts complete as these are intertwined in the exemplar.
