ABOUT TRACE URBAN •TRACE Urban (channel 325 – DSTV) is the number one international
urban music channel. Launched in 2003, TRACE Urban gives a unique
insight into urban music and culture and airs the most popular urban
music genres focusing on the latest in R&B, hip-hop, dance, rhythmic
pop, reggae ton.
• The leading music channel played in shops, lounges, clubs and bars
across Africa and specifically in Nigeria thus reaching out to individuals
with buying power during their relaxation time.
• Our primary target market are urban music fans between the ages of 18
to 34, with a spill over audience of 35-45 years thus reaching out to all
from entry level to senior management (and beyond) in banks, telecoms,
energy and industry
• Our distribution network includes DSTV, NTA 2 Channel 5, reaching out
to social classes with spending power in the Nigerian society
• TRACE is the highest rated Music Television Channel on DSTV, beating
its closest competitors by over 100,000 in reach.
