    American Woman Suffrage Association Collec-

    tion, 1848-1921collection (collection con-nection)consists of 167 textual documents(books, pamphlets and other artifacts) de-tailing the suffrage campaign.

    frage Pictures, 1850-1920collection(collection connection)is the pictorial

    companion to the above collection. It in-cludes portraits of suffrage leaders, car-toons, an anti-suffrage display, and photo-graphs of parades and pickets.

    Miller NAWSA Suffrage Scrapbooks, 1897-

    1911collection (collection connection)includes Elizabeth Smith Miller and Anne Fitzhugh Millers seven scrapbooks. Each documents their womenssuffrage movement work. Articles, pins, ribbons and other memorabilia are also in the collection.

    Women of Protest: Photographs from the Records of the National Woman's Partycollection (collection connection)is agroup of 448 photographs selected from the Records of the National Womans Party collection. These images

    show the militant wing of the suffrage movement. The collection page also includes information essays, atimeline, and a gallery of imprisoned suffrage activists.

    Chronicling America: Historic American Newspapersis a good place to find contemporary coverage of the suffrageand anti-suffrage movement across the nation. The Library created a topics page for the Nineteenth Amend-ment;this page gives important dates, suggested search terms, and sample articles.
