The lecture delivered by Mr. Murase, an assessor of TPM Awards since 2001, will be a key to evolving / deepening TPM activities. By integrating TPM with TPS/Lean approach, we aim for thorough improvement of losses and pursuit of lead time limits. The lecture also explains the Process Flow Diagram (PFD), an analytical method for reviewing the manufacturing process as a whole.Please attend this lecture as a reference to challenge towards higher awards.

Badve engineering was established in the year 1988 with a small unit by Mr. Shrikant Badve with the initial sales turnover of 0.2 crore (INR) & reached the milestone of 21900 crore (INR) in FY 2015-16. Plant situated at Aurangabad (Maharashtra) started its operations in 2005 with manufacturing of Plastic molded & painted parts for Motor Cycle.

It started sales and manufacturing of Scooters in India in technical collaboration with Piaggio of Italy and subsequently started making Scooters and 3 Wheelers under its own brand after the expiry of agreement.

Hero MotoCorp Ltd was incorporated on 19th January 1984 as Hero Honda Motors Ltd. With adoption of TPM as a tool since 2008, major benefits achieved in terms of higher productivity, zero defect supplies, on time delivery with zero losses. Some of the threats are converted into opportunities due to consistent and satisfactory results seen by customer even at peak production level. As a result additional business of spares and 4 Wheeler parts is allotted to us.

Indian Oil Corporation Limited (Indian Oil / IOCL), a government owned enterprise set up in the year 1964, is India's largest commercial enterprise. Refineries Headquarters (RHQ) situated at heart of the national capital New Delhi, controls/coordinates the affairs of all the aforesaid Refineries. RHQ is a non-plant/factory Location and the same is purely an office setup. However, for the purpose of TPM terminology, RHQ shall be treated as equivalent of "Plant". Having witnessed holistic improvements in all the Refineries, Refinery Headquarters (RHQ), decided to implement TPM in its SCOPE Complex office.

Toyota Kirloskar Auto Parts Pvt. Ltd is situated in Bidadi industrial area, about 35 Kms from Bangalore in Ramanagara District of Karnataka state. It is an Auto Parts manufacturing facility established in the year 1999 by Kirloskar Systems Limited (KSL), a Kirloskar Group Company. TKAP, In line with lean philosophy of TPS, Company has always considered key parameters of Safety, Quality & Productivity as its top priorities. To achieve these key parameters major challenges include improving equipment reliability & employee’s competencies and contribution at all levels.

Sona Koyo was founded in 1985 with technical collaboration agreement with then Koyo Seiko Company Ltd. The test was established in 2014 and is currently available only in Thailand, but many company employees in all kinds of industries have taken the test.
