WARNING: BEFORE YOU BEGIN THE REMOVAL OR INSTALLATION, READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS THOROUGHLY! THE WARRANTY WILL BE VOID IF INSTRUCTIONS ARE NOT FOLLOWED EXACTLY. DO NOT WORK UNDER CAR UNDER A VEHICLE SUPPORTED BY A JACK. ALWAYS SUPPORT THE VEHICLE ON SAFETY STANDS.

Remove front wheel. Torque: 103 Nm (76 ft/lb) Bleed air.

Disconnect height control sensor link from shock absorber lower bracket. Remove the nut and disconnect the sensor link. Torque: 5.0 Nm (48 inch/lb)

Disconnect steering knuckle from upper ball joint.

Disconnect pneumatic cylinder from shock absorber lower bracket. Remove the bolt and nut. Torque: 157 Nm (116 ft/lb)

Disconnect air tube from pneumatic cylinder. Remove the grommet and disconnect the air tube from pneumatic cylinder. Torque: 17 Nm (13 ft/lb)

Remove clip and nut. Torque: 65 Nm (48 ft/lb)Using Special Service Tool or equivalent, disconnect the steering knuckle from upper ball joint.Support the steering knuckle securely.

HINT: Disconnect the necessary one touch air connector of the height control valves and bleed the air.

HINT: After stabilizing the suspension, torque the bolt.

Remove suspension control actuator.

HINT: At time of installation match the rod of pneumatic cylinder with the hole in the actuator.

Remove front pneumatic cylinder. Remove 3 nuts and pneumatic cylinder. Torque: 58 Nm (43 ft/lb)

Remove suspension support. Remove 3 nuts and suspension support.Torque: 36 Nm (27 ft/lb)

Remove 3 nuts and actuator cover. Torque: 58 Nm (43 ft/lb)Disconnect the actuator connector.Remove 2 nuts and actuator. Torque: 7.8 Nm (69 inch/lb)

INSTALLATION IS THE REVERSE ORDER OF REMOVAL

Front Conversion







Turn off air ride suspension switch.

In trunk, pull back RH rear access cover to expose the ride control computer. (There are 2 bolts hidden inside convenience tray.)

Pull back protective coating on wiring bundle closest to you (on ride control computer).

LOCATE THE FOLLOWING WIRES AND CUT THEM:

Tape both ends of the wires to make sure they don't touch the metal surfaces.

Reinstall the access tray.

Turn off air ride suspension switch.

In trunk, pull back RH rear access cover to expose the ride control computer. (There are 2 bolts hidden inside convenience tray.)

Pull back protective coating on wiring bundle closest to you (on ride control computer).

Reinstall the access tray.

(Make sure you cut wire several inches back from module in case you ever decide to reinstall system.)

Removal

1. Remove rear wheel. Torque: 103Nm(76/lb)2. Remove the rear seat cushion, rer seat bac, and packege tray trim . Refer to body and frame.3. Remove rear drive shaft.4. Disconnect the stabilizer bar link from the stabilizer bar. Torque: 65 Nm (48ft/lb)5. Remove rear brake caliper. A) Remove the 2 bolts and brake caliper. torque:104Nm(77ft/lb) B) Support the brake caliper securely.

6. Remove ABS speed sensor. Remove bolt and ABS sensor. Torque:7.8Nm (69 inch/lb)

NOTICE- DO NOT DISCONNECT THE RH PAD WEAR INDICATOR CONNECTOR.

7. Disconnect height control sensor from No. 1 lower suspension arm. A) Place match marks on the link and bracket. B) Remove the nut and disconnect the height control sensor link. Torque: 5.0Nm (48 inch/lb)

Rear Conversion







Removal

8. Remove shock absorber and coil spring. A) Loosenthe bolt and remove the nut on lower side of shock absorber. *DO NOT REMOVE THE BOLT* Torque:137Nm (101ft/lb B) Support the rear axle carrier with jack.

C) Remove the 3 nuts and shock absorber cap. Torque: 25Nm(18ft/lb) D) Loosen the suspension support center nut.*DO NOT REMOVE THE NUT*INSTALLATION HINT: Torque: 27 Nm (20ft/lb) E) Lower the rear axle carrier and remove the bolt on lower side of shock absorber. F) Remove the AIRSTRUT.INSTALLATION HINT: Torque: 64 Nm (47ft/lb)
