What is Toxicology?

A diagnostic test that examines urine for the presence of prescription or illicit drugs.

Why is this important?

Urine drug testing is an important tool in patient care. It helps to determine the type and/or approximate amount of illegal or prescription drugs a person has taken.

Urine drug testing can help identify if someone is abusing, misusing, or diverting medication.

This can protect you and your practice from malpractice litigation

What type of testing do we offer?

Immunoassay – Screen for classification with greater accuracy and sensitivity than POC cup.

Confirmation via LC-MS/MS identifies specific drugs and their metabolites by either:

Qualitative testing – Positive or negative Quantitative testing – Confirms with numeric value of

analyte

Fill out a New Account and Supply request form.

A member from our Principle Team will contact you to discuss your account and testing options.

Supplies will be mailed to the office or hand delivered by your personal representative.
