    DESCRIPTION

    Overburden

    Fine-grained, finely foliated, dark green black rock. Composition,feldspar and qtz approximately 6(^, remainder mostly mafics. Biotite isprominent (lineated) , also hornblende. Rock is fairly fresh, onlytraces of chloritization visible. Minor limonite on fracture surfaces.Numerous felsic veinlets comprising quartz, calcite, commonly trendingwith the foliation. Occasionally these are slightly contorted. Poorto moderately fractured rock. Traces of pyrite, some chalcopyrite?common.

    At 19.5 - limonite chlorite fracture.At 45 - 1" qtz.56.5-57 - some bull qtz.62.5-63 - small qtz veinlet network (breccia).67-78.5 - more irregularity in veinlets.

    Fine to medium-grained, slightly foliated pale grey rock. Compositionmostly feldspar and qtz. Up to 1(^ lineated (foliated) biotite andhornblende. Traces of pyrite common throughout. Some chlorite veinlets.Moderately fractured.

    Red, dark ̂ reen/ grey rock. Fragments commonly strongly hematized. Somequartz fragments and secondary quartz growth. Small amounts of pyrite.Trace of carbonate minerals. Some lineation at 45" GA.

    Similar to above at 197.5 to 226, though more quartz-rich and moredistinct breccia texture. Green-grey rock. Some fragments showfoliation. Well fractured, broken core common. Quartz clasts andquartz cementing.

    Fine- to medium-grained, pink rock. Anhedral crystals. Compositionprimarily quartz and feldspars. Traces of ̂pyrite on fracture surfaces.Mafic veinlets. Gradational contacts. Xenolith of country rock.Moderately fractured.

    Similar to above at 228.5 to 244.5. Some subtle breccia textures.Overall composition more mafic-rich. Well fractured, broken core.

    247.5-249 - granitized (aplite).267-267 - 3' core lost.262-273 - very little brecciation.

    DESCRIPTION

    Aplite similar to above at 244.5-247.5 only green-grev in colour.Syenite is fine- to medium-drained rock with lineated chloritizedamphiboles. Foliation commonly along core axis. The aplite has beenbrecciated and cemented with white quartz. The svenite appears intrusiveinto the aplite. Well fractured, highly broken rock.

    Similar in composition to previous section at 228.5 to 244.5. Foliationnot as well developed. Moderately, locally well fractured. Brokencore common.

    306-307 - some irregular bull quartz.308-311 - more quartz rich, some grey aplite f brecciated?") .311-324 - intensely broken, mostly gravel.

    Similar to above at 273-293 in composition. Locally some brecciation.Overall pink to grey rock occasionally foliated. Highly fractured.mostly broken core. Locally some mafic contamination. Mafic mineralscoat fractures. Occasional bull quartz.

    331-338.5 - metasediment xenolith. Some alteration around fractures.Variable gneissosity.
