Townsend Leather delights in providing designers and purchasing companies with the information, examples, and inspiration they need when working on their projects. We offer a variety of sampling options to verified customers. We understand each customer and project has its own unique ways of working and special requirements and so we offer flexibility and choices in our sampling tools in order to best meet individual needs. This sheet provides an outline of the sampling tools and options that our sample department can provide. Customization within each of the options is usually available; contact your Townsend Leather Customer Service rep with any specific requests at any time.

Loose SamplesWe can provide Loose Samples of products in a variety of sizes when available. The most common sample size is 4X4 inch. Loose samples are usually available in standard sizes of 6” x 6” and 9” x 9” as well or custom sizes may be available upon special request.

This is the most popular and effec-tive option for when your leather selection has been narrowed down. It gives you a larger piece to repre-sent the feel, color, and overall look of your product choice.

Color Inspiration SetsA variety of loose sample sizes and products representing a specific color range held together on a raw-hide string or metal ring.

Most often used for large design firms that have not narrowed down their selections, but plan to use Townsend Leather.

This is a great starting place for when your driving need is color. Larger samples of anything shown in the Design + Color Guide are always available.

Best for small spaces and portability, but when you still need a nearly full reference of all Townsend’s products.
