Can the deadreally live again?

CAN WE REALLYBELIEVE WHATTHE BIBLE SAYS?Yes, for at least three reasons:

˙ God is the Creator of life. The Bible calls Jehovah God“the source of life.” (Psalm36:9; Acts 17:24, 25) TheOne who gave life to all livingcreatures is certainly capableof restoring life to someonewho has died.

˙ God has resurrected humansin the past. The Bible reportseight instances of humans—young, old, male, and fe-male—who were broughtback to life on earth. Somehad been dead for a shortwhile, but one had been in atomb for four days!—John11:39-44.

˙ God is eager to do it again.Jehovah hates death; heviews it as an enemy. (1 Co-rinthians 15:26) He has alonging to conquer that ene-my, to undo death by meansof the resurrection. He yearnsto bring back those who arein his memory and to seethem live on earth again.—Job 14:14, 15.

WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS“There is going to be a resurrection.”—Acts 24:15, New World Translation.

WHAT THAT CAN MEAN FOR YOU˙ Comfort when loved ones die.

—2 Corinthians 1:3, 4.

˙ Freedom from a morbid fearof death.—Hebrews 2:15.

˙ A real hope of being reunited withyour dead loved ones.—John 5:28, 29.
