The Program 50+ is designed for a range of adult students, and features a relaxed class atmosphere and a productive learning approach. The program offers the opportunity to learn Italian in a group of mixed ages and cultures, a situation ideal for friendly contacts and successful communication. The Program 50+ is two weeks in duration, with participants arriving from around the world. In additio to the curriculum for learning Italian, the program includes daily experiences that introduce the class participants to Italian citizens, who share their knowledge, culture and traditions in open communication. what’s the content of a typIcal program 50+ The language course is provided in the mornings, with participants organized in groups at the same skill levels. Each group consists of a maximun of 13 participants of mixed ages and national backgrounds. The morning sessions include four lessons of 45 minutes each, from 9:00 to 12:30. For the afternoons and evenings, the school organizes a variety of options for exploration of Rome and the surrounding areas, introducing the monuments, piazzas and the different quarters, each with their special histories and atmospheres. You can wander the lanes of the historic center, stop for an espresso as you like, enjoy a cold gelato and try the dishes of neighborhood trattorias and pizzerias. Success for your study-vacation in Rome is ensured by the excellence of our language courses and the cultural activities, but also by
quality accommodations. Torre di Babele offers assistance in booking housing in central areas, including near our school. Our own
staff respond to your requests, manage your bookings and monitor all accommodations for quality. Staff members are on hand throug-
hout the course program to answer questions, offer suggestions and respond to the needs of each student.
Course participants can book rooms for either single or shared (couples) accommodation.
Options include:
Rooms in apartments shared with locals or other students (shared bath and kitchen)• Two weeks, single occupancy room: €310• Two weeks, double occupancy room: €215 per person
Rooms in Bed and Breakfast (private bath, breakfast included)• Single room: €50-€60 per night• Double room: €40-€45 per person per night
Rooms in 3 star hotel (private bath, continental breakfast included)• Single room: €75-€120 per night• Double room: €50-€75 per person per night
Rooms in 4 star hotel (private bath, continental breakfast included)• Single room: €118 per night• Double room: €90 per person per night

Programs 50+ are offered twice per year, in the ideal seasons for enjoying Rome and
Mediterranean climate: spring and fall. The dates selected for the programs avoid the
heat of peak summer and permit long evenings outdoors, in complete, enjoyable
comfort.
The program duration is two weeks:
Spring: 13 to 24 May 2019
Autumn: 4 to 25 October 2019
