He was officially appointed as a lecturer for the Israeli Army to help motivate troops in all divisions. He also lectures for the Menachem Begin Israel Government Fellows in Jerusalem. Rabbi Hammer has authored three books and is a contributing writer for the Jerusalem Post. He is a guest lecturer for communities throughout the Diaspora, including the United States, the United Kingdom, South Africa and Australia.
