“For all aspiring designers; study hard and develop your knowledge and skills at design school whilst exploring and experimenting in different areas of design.

Immerse yourself in fashion events, attend talks, trade shows and volunteer backstage at fashion week. If you are still studying, get a part- time job in fashion. Three years as a bra fitter taught me some valuable lessons about lingerie, fabrics and fitting that help me now as a designer.

Always keep a sketchbook going on the side, as those raw and messy ideas give such a great insight into your style.
