YouTube - Dumb and Dumber Trailer
-Starring well-known actors
-NO voiceover until introducing the actors
-Clever shots that match the audio... Especially the fighting scene
-Visual comedy... Manner of mishaps
-Facial expressions
-Appropriate music to match the characters and the film genre
-Funny sound effects to suit the comic genre
-Doesn’t give away anything about the storyline
-Sound effects used during the titles with backwards letters to show the ‘dumb characters’ portrayed in the film

-Starring a well-known actors
-Fast paced shots... Suits the horror genre
-Tension building music
-Parallel sound
-Establishing shot showing the ‘trapped environment’ followed shortly by a characters point of view shot at the beginning so the audience feels involved
-So many different types of shots and effects to portray the manic nature of the film
-Storyline isn’t revealed at all
-Confuses the audience with the constant changing shots which is what the film does
-Good use of special effects

-Voice over- old woman- makes the trailer mysterious
-VERY fast paced shots with different effects

-Screeching sounds make the scream more effective
