Tailoring sentences to fit the crimeGives judges more

Illinois General Assembly moves to address juvenile sentencing reforms

Bringing parity to juvenile justiceProhibits minors from
being committed to the Department of Juvenile Justice for misdemeanor offenses. (SB 1560)
