• #8 Torx driver

• #10 Torx driver

• Standard Phillips screwdriver

With the autoloader upside down, remove 4 #10 Torx screws

Slide the outer case towards the back of the drive and remove it

Turn the autoloader top up and remove 4 Phillips screws (2 on each side) from the inner case

Slide the tape and carousel mechanism towards the front of

the drive face about 3 inches

Remove data cable and 4 wire connectors from the mechanism

The number one connector can be removed from the top of the drive prying it toward the center of the drive and pulling it out the

back

Remove mech from housing by sliding it out the front

From the back of the drive remove the 2 #8 Torx screws that hold the drive retaining bracket

Lift the drive ¼ inch and pull retaining bracket up and out

Continue lifting drive to 60 degree position

Pull drive out and lay upside down on top of carousel
