I t is a nonprofi t informat iona l microwebsite about Refugee

that is aiming to help people to know the background of

refugee, such as people will not know there are more than

50 million refugees around the world, ha l f of which are

women and children. The most impor tant thing is people

have no idea about what rea lly causes refugee crisis. Thus,

we cannot be sure to avoid the happen of this kind of

sadness in the future. My si te will focus on giving refugee

crisis example, Middle East Refugee Crisis, which is the

hot test debate in the recent years.

Users are about to know the background of Middle East

such as culture, geography, religion, races, po licy and so on

so that the misunderstandings of refugee will be decreased

and next generat ions will acquare bet ter and comprehen-

sive educat ion from us. Indeed, the refugee crisis will

reduce even be so lved.

MUSLIMSYRIA

In the huge populat ion of refugee, Muslim has the most

people that locates in Africa and Middle East. People a lways

think about mystery, specia l culture and unknown when we

are ta lking about Muslim, but people have to know and

understand Muslim. I f we want to so lve refugee crisis, we

must so lve the pro lem in Muslim region. One of the famous

country is Syria because the most of ci t izens of this country

are Muslim. Also, Syria has more than four million refugee.

In my project, I will use the Hijab as the clue in my who le

design. I t means the spiri t of Muslim and the key design

element of the story line so that users will feel the

consistency of my project.

The branding, campaign and si te will a ll have Hijab to

express the story to users from the co lor, shapes even ideas

of campaign. In that way, I think people will have bet ter

understandings about refugee.

I am going to pick space grey as the domestic color in my design

because refugee is a serious topic. Beside this, red is a lso another

color used in the project. The reason why I choose red color

because I want to match the sketch in the design. Also, red and

space grey will have a very strong contrast to make the content

stand out.

I chose COVES as my logo font and body text content font.

Goudy is another font in my project of the texts content

Why I chose these two fonts is because COVES is Sans

Seri f font that represents modern, clear and t iny. I t will show

The world’s system for protecting refugees is broken. It is obvious

- from Australia to South Sudan’s vast camps, from Istanbul’s cold

streets to the European Union’s heavily fortified walls.

Worldwide, 19.5 million people have been forced to seek sanctu-
