The gates are now opened and the volcano stage is about to erupt into a spectacular show of fire, lights and music. “The Arising of Life” begins. May this mantra

inspire you to put troubles aside and let the magical TomorrowWorld whisk you away to a place of pure bliss. Yesterday, Dreamville campers set the tone for the weekend as they arrived bursting with smiles and excitement and danced the first night away at The Gathering. But now, it is time for all of you beautiful people of

TomorrowWorld to come together for the first full day of festivities. Take in the magical surroundings, open your eyes and your hearts and prepare yourself for an unforgettable adventure. Your only mission this weekend is to revel in the beauty of this phenomenal celebration of life!

Now that you’ve warmed up at The Gathering, it’s time to grab your rave stick or your dancing shoes and prepare for a full day of music. Today is your chance to explore as you write your own musical adventure. There will be amazing music coming from all seven stages today. Start your own dance party at the Anjunadeep stage. Get your dose of Super You&Me music with sets from Laidback Luke and Batman, Superman, Spiderman. Let the music of Reliquary and Jordan Suckley move you at the Trance-Addict stage. Turn it up a notch with the driving beats of Crizzly at It’s a Trap! or the hardstyle sounds of Lady Faith and Wildstylez at the Q-dance stage. Rejoice in the bass as Griz, Zeds Dead and Bassnectar light up the Mythical Frames stage. Then make your way to Mainstage, which will be in full flames as Nervo and Nicky Romero take us into the night. Zedd and Tiësto will then be bringing the heat to close out the Volcano with a bang.

Today’s lineup will blow your mind, and it’s only the first full day.

In this daily travel column, we’ll be uncovering some hidden gems for you to look out for as you explore the beautiful grounds of Chattahoochie Hills. We’ll direct you to awesome views, little nuances and fun meeting spots for you and your friends. While you’re soaking in the sounds, keep an eye out for these cool sights.

As you approach the Mad Decent stage, be sure to wander over to the hugging tree forest. These soft

and snuggly trees are wrapped in colorful crochet creations for optimum hugging! As if there aren’t enough beautiful people to inspire you to give out free hugs, these friendly trees offer yet another excuse to spread the love! As you’re leaving this area, let the life-size candies encourage you to tap into your sweet side. Snap a photo with your main squeeze or take the opportunity to introduce yourself to someone new. Maybe you’ll make a friend that will become your new sweetheart! When you’re looking to gain a little perspective, head to the hills! Sprinkled with magical mushrooms, the hilltop across from the Mainstage is the perfect place to take a panoramic

picture and bask in the view. Here, you can see the majestic Volcano stage in all its glory as you watch the people of TomorrowWorld pulse to the music with flags flying and hands waving high. If you get a chance to make your way to the Mainstage before the eruption of people or if you are brave enough to swim through the crowds to get a closer look, you can appreciate the details of the incredibly intricate structure that is the Volcano stage. Can you spot the stained glass windows with the all-seeing eyes or the female face amidst twisting and turning branches? What about the clock? Is time standing still or is that just the music making it feel that way?

The clouds broke away to reveal the expansive floor of TomorrowWorld. Slowly it filled to the brim with people streaming in from all over the globe. Tents went flying, beers were cracked open, music began pumping from the information cabins. You unplugged yourself from the rest of the world, knowing that you’re far

away from the humdrum of everyday life.

The excitement was palpable. While setting up your campsite, you backed into a stranger who then became your new best friend. Plans were set for last night’s parties. Soon an empty field was transformed into a maze of tents, friends, colors and dreams. It all started with The Gathering.

They also have essential camping gear like tents and tarps to create a TomorrowWorld haven for resting and sleeping soundly. Do you want to add a fun flair to your costume or campsite? They even have blow-up elephants! Be sure to stock up on all the camping gear you need for this year and next year, too. unfortunately there will not be any blow-up dolls available even though these have been requested. But who needs blow-up dolls when you have thousands of new friends to make?

These are all important questions that may run through your head during the festival. No worries, we’ve got you covered. Just download the official TomorrowWorld app on your mobile phone! That way, you’ll be right on the money, always and everywhere, with all the latest info. You won’t have to miss a thing with your personal timetable and floorplan. The weekend’s too short to be searching for stuff, after all.

As we are all in this together, we urge you to look out for each other. Always help out a friend – or even a stranger – who’s not feeling well. They may end up helping you someday! If you don’t know what to do, check in with the medical staff present on the festival grounds and in DreamVille. The First Aid tents are open 24 hours a day. Also, there will be teams roaming the terrain. They’re always just around the corner if you need them!

grab some mercHThis Georgia-based company is back for the second year to offer you two locations for buying merchandise on the TomorrowWorld festival grounds. One of the merchandise stores can be found in the Marketplace, and the other is by the main stage. They sell everything from t-shirts and water bottles to even comic books! Head over to the merchandise store and pick up something as a gift for a friend or grab something special for yourself as a souvenir to remember your TomorrowWorld experience. Even though there are two locations this year, you better grab your merchandise quickly because they are project to sell out!

As the beautiful sun set behind the trees, you were reminded of all the magic that is about to occur. Your heart was thumping in anticipation and excitement. Looking around you came to the epic awareness that the characters surrounding you seemed to only make the music that much more potent. You couldn’t wait for the party to begin because all you could think about was the mind-melting, bass-tastic, euphoria that awaits you. It hit you that this was only the beginning of what will inevitably become an epic journey in your own personal saga. AjuNADEEPSuper You&Me has the propensity for calling on all the superheroes of the world. Their mission is to save civilization from mediocre music and unremarkable lineups, and each one of their shows only reinforces their commitment to this bold claim. It all began in the Netherlands with the vivacious Laidback Luke, who has made the top 100 List in DJ Magazine for the past four years. Their music invites people to harness their inner superhero as their events take you to a new level of the acclaimed “party-monster” mentality. Each event might offer something a little different but they all remain to hold up to the standard of super heroism.

There’s no better way to encompass Q-dance’s notorious reputation than with their slogan “representing the harder styles in dance music.” Known for organizing events and festivals that focus on the darker and dirtier styles of electronic dance music, this Dutch company is well equipped and experienced at delivering the rougher side of EDM to large audiences. Founded in 1999 by a few friends in the suburbs of Amsterdam, the founders decided to deem the letter Q as an instant identifier for their signature events. While their roots may be in old school house music, they’ve become known as the ingenious inventors of the music genre known as hardstyle.

According to Clash Magazine, “Anjunadeep is simply soulful, meaningful, emotional, and deep.” The record label based in London and established in 2005 specializes in deep trance and progressive house, but their approaches and philosophies when it comes to this style of music will exceed your expectations and take you to places you never dreamed of. This year one of their label favorites, Beckwith, will appear at the Ajunadeep stage to deliver hand-raising music that according to DJ Magazine, pushes you to get even closer to the speaker just so you can hear every nuance.

Laidback Luke is bringing his Super You&Me crew along for a day full of heroism! Batman, Spiderman and Superman are amongst the brave vigilantes behind the decks, as well as Blasterjaxx and Bassjackers (which could very well be the name of some sort of super villain, if you ask us). For those that love to dance hard to hardstyle music, the famous Q of Q-dance has come to Chattahoochie Hills once more! You can also catch hardstyle powerhouses LNY TNZ, Psyko Punkz and the most famous member of the Belgian royal hard house - Coone. It’s a Trap! will be living

up to its name. Get rowdy with Kennedy Jones and Green Lantern or freestyle to the trap sounds of Ooka and Mim0sa. Veni, vidi, party. Yellow Claw comes, sees, conquers and leaves the party only when the last man standing can’t stand any more. The Netherlands has already succumbed to their ferocious quest for glory, and now they’ve set their sights on the rest of the world. DJ Nizzle, Jim Aasgier and MC Bizzey started only three years ago with a successful residency in Amsterdam’s Jimmy Woo nightclub, but can now be admired on the biggest stages worldwide, including TomorrowWorld!

“There are a few places of pilgrimage in the world for those who love dance music. Tomorrowland in Belgium is such a sacred place. For us personally it meant a lot to return there, as it was the first event of this stature where we got a spot to play our music. Our set was sick, the crowd was sick, the delicious lobster we ate afterwards was sick.”

Yellow Claw is quickly becoming a household name for everyone into partying hard. They’re known for being eclectic, energetic and for thinking outside of the box. They are guaranteed mayhem. A large part of their success can be traced back to the incredible amount of interaction they have with their fans while playing. “If you ask us, the key to success lies in a couple of things. Work very, very hard, never listen to negative fools and always (always!) try to improve yourself in every way possible.” Focus, determination, a clear vision of how music should be played; Yellow Claw has got it all. They risk it all to deliver the highest quality of music and that true party feeling, time and time again.

“Our strategy to take over the world is simply by making the best music, to surprise the crowd every time with unique sets and to take

along our musical friends while we’re at it.” Yellow Claw has set foot on foreign soil after conquering every stage the Netherlands has to offer. Recently they gave away a hell of a show in Las Vegas. “That was a really mind-blowing experience. Magical, even. The sun just went down, the lightshow was spot on and we had trouble seeing the end of the crowd, somewhere far away in the back. There was so damn much love at that moment, Bizzey just had to do a stage dive at the end of our set.”

The three friends are as musically diverse as it gets. “Basically, we’re just doing our thing. Somehow that works really well. We’ll continue to play everything that sounds awesome, regardless of genre.” Recently

they even invited gabber veteran Distortion (Rotterdam Terror Corps) for a gig. “He’s a true legend, and has been for the last two decades. Tracks made by Rotterdam Terror Corps have influenced our sound in so many ways, so when a festival gives us an all-clear, it only makes sense to invite an act like him.”

Keeping it fun while being together on tour all the time can be a bit tricky. The friends have found a way to keep things flowing on a personal level. “We’re completely different characters within the group. Socially, but also professionally, we found some sort of way to deal with this diversity. Even to make it into a strength, rather than a source for bickering. We’re a bit like the Spicegirls, with Bizzey being sporty spice, Nils baby spice and Jim posh spice.”

Amidst all the touring and producing, they made time to prepare for TomorrowWorld of course.

Their sets are famous for containing a large amount of their own tracks, which make for a great atmosphere and a killer pay-off. 16 Bit Lolitas gained worldwide recognition after they made remixes for superstars like Sander Kleinenberg and Armin van Buuren. They joined forces with Armada Music for the release of

the album Warung Brazil, their big break-through. It was inspired by the Brazilian temple of electronic music: the Warung Beach Club. And it’s no coincidence that Brazil is where we, People of Tomorrow, are headed next!

Bassnectar blends his signature basslines with elements of dubstep and hip-hop, as well as contrasting moods and shifting tempos and does it all in the same set. This longhaired icon is one of the most respected DJs in the uSA and has a big influence on rave scenes throughout the country. Although he travels from coast to coast, he still is one of the most popular DJs in California’s EDM circuit. It is no surprise that he got the idea for his name at a Cali beach, then. A friend gave him a sticker at a beach rave with the words Bass Nectar on it, and Bassnectar was born! The most awesome thing about Bassnectar is that his music isn’t just for entertainment. He also uses his tracks to promote social and political causes. What a way to change the world!

This lady will make you dance! She knows how treat your ears and your eyes and always takes her performances to the next level. Tokimonsta tours the world as a live performer alongside big names such as Skrillex and Diplo. She uses new technology with pieces of musical and multimedia gear to make her gig an outstanding experience. Skrillex, Diplo and Tokimonsta traveled together on the Full Flex Express tour through Canada. Her tour buddies praised her music and her uplifting performances, just like her fans do. As an electronic hip-hop artist, she is just one of the guys in a male-dominated scene. She gives hip-hop a new dimension by turning it inside out, creating a new sound that mixes hip-hop with a touch of percussion and vocals. The icing on top of the cake is provided by her careful live piano acoompaniments.

Few Belgian artists are of such international stature as Coone. Only in his twenties, he managed to sell out one of Belgium’s biggest venues, blasting away in front of 10,000 hard dance minded people with Coone & the Gang. His roots firmly based in hardstyle, he does not shy away from working with artists outside the scene, like Steve Aoki. He’s even signed at Dim Mak, Aoki’s party empire. Combining the power of Dim Mak with the reputation of his own label Dirty Workz, Coone is taking his sound worldwide at incredible pace. Nowadays he’s touring the united States, Australia, Europe; the whole planet, really. Coone lives for the music. He lives the music. He is the music. A-Trak is best known as a part of the group Duck Sauce. He and his partner in crime, Armand van Helden, had massive success all across the globe with their tracks. ‘Big Bad Wolf’ and ‘Barbra Streisand’ (yep, the one that got stuck in your head for days) became big hits. But A-Trak also made a quite name for himself. He was aware that you’ve got only one chance to make a first impression, and as such, his entrance to the EDM scene couldn’t

be more spectacular. He won the DMC World DJ Championship when he was only 15 years old! Nowadays, A-Trak blends hiphop and electronic music flawlessly, having worked with crossover rappers like Kid Sister and Kid Cudi. His skills were also noticed by hip-hop icon Kayne West, who made him his tour DJ. His performance made a big impression on the hip-hop scene, and now it’s time to show him TomorrowWorld loves his work as well.

Alongside the likes of Armin, Tiësto and Hardwell, Nicky Romero is one of the finest examples of Dutch innovation, grandeur and musicality we’ve seen the last decade or so. If at all, his sound could be described as a sensual mix of progressive house with hints of electro and acid. With David Guetta as his mentor, Nicky has grown from spinning house and R&B in his early years to headlining the biggest stages in the world and producing some

of the biggest hits the world has ever heard. He now runs his very own Protocol label, lending his insights to Nilson and Tony Romera, among others. In an era where everybody can be a DJ, there can be only one Nicky Romero. With or without his famous Anonymous mask, Nicky has stolen our hearts. And eardrums. And feet. You can show Nicky what’s his at the mainstage this afternoon.

Simon Patterson is often described as a master craftsman of melancholic melody and a purveyor of razor sharp edges. His style is cutting edge, dark, driving, pulsating and he damn well knows what he is doing: bringing a new sound and a new clubbing experience through the combination of the two most important ingredients for a good night out. His fusion of cutting edge audio and video experience makes clubs all across the world go

crazy. But that is not the only thing he does. He is also known for his leading radio show at uK’s Radio 1. Simon’s ‘Open up’ show became the main destination for quality underground trance and techno. And there is still more… Simon is also one half of Dogzilla! He and Richie Kayvan shook up the trance world under their alias Dogzilla with just one track. ‘Without You’ was made, and a new standard for trance production was born.

Tiësto is much more than just a DJ. He paved the way for the current superstars, as he created a global brand out of his name. He was nominated for a Grammy, his ‘Club Life’ radio show reaches millions worldwide, and he co-operates with the biggest companies and clubs there are, including Intel and Hakkasan Las Vegas. Musically speaking, he’s on fire as well. Whereas he gained his fame and glory by producing groundbreaking trance, nowadays he has shifted his focus onto every

genre he deems worthy. That way his sound has steadily transcended genres, something that can be heard on his latest album A Town Called Paradise. His releases come out on his very own label, Musical Freedom, which holds quite a few gold and platinum records. As Tiësto’s traveling from sold-out arena to sold-out arena, he is evolving in an idea rather than a man, spreading love and brilliant tunes everywhere.
