Minimal Sounds Practice

Here are 25 English sounds which are not used in the Chinese language. Students must learn how to say these sounds through listening and speaking practice, not reading.

The exercises are for oral use and were taken from Pronunciation Contrasts in English by Nilsen and Nilsen.

The word meanings are unimportant. What is important is the drill of learning language placement, fluency and correct pronunciation.
