School type Location Genres Aim to be a professional in architecture, building facilities, carpentry, interior, civil engineering and surveying! Established in 1961, the school has produced over 43,000 graduates over the past 56 years, is an architecture and design vocational school that represents the Chubu district.Among the qualifications, the students of this school have managed to accomplish great achievement in the class-2 architect examination every year. In the class-2 architects examination, 3,673 student have passed in the past 36 years Graduate as a surveyor or assistant surveyor without the need for an examination Career support from the alumni association formed by career supporters who are placed in different areas together with past graduate students. In Tokosen, students are able to acquire a variety of qualifications and they can also acquire some of these qualifications within a shorter amount of time or without the need of an examination. They can sit for the state examinations for respective qualifications although they may have only studied within a short period. In April 2010, a course called architect license course was made for students who wish to sit for the class-2 architect examination. In this course, students are able to acquire the class-2 architect license and also bachelor’s degree from Aichi Sangyo University through distance learning. Besides that, students can acquire surveyor license and assistant surveyor license in both advanced surveying course and surveying and planning course respectively without examination when they graduate. To let its students be able to acquire the qualifications that they need, the school provides a thorough back-up for them. With the help of the network that we share with Denpa Gakuen and also the great achievements in employment along the years, we are able to provide our students with job-hunting support which covers various kinds of careers. In order to find and recommend a suitable workplace for our students, we provide thorough guidance and support in which our homeroom teachers, career supporters and people from the same prefecture gather together to help. “Kenjinkai” is an association in which the supporters are all placed in different prefectures/areas and they aid the students based on where they are. When the students first enter our school, they can join the kenjinkai based on where their hometown is. The teachers who are in charge will help the students who wish to look for jobs in their hometown and they will also help to introduce companies and provide guidance for interviews. The new school building which was built in March 2007 is an environmentally friendly building as it has green walls and also a roof garden. Besides that, we are also proud to say that our school is equipped with great facilities. In the 11-storey building, students can find facilities such as CAD room and drawing room which are equipped with the latest equipments, studying rooms and training rooms with tools and equipments that are needed for architecture and civil engineering and many more. All the equipments are new, so students can learn in a comfortable environment. Plus, the roof garden is a good place for students to have a quick break. After a short break, students might even feel more motivated. As breakfast and dinner are provided daily in Meiji dormitory (males), students will be able to maintain a nutritional diet. During the holidays, students go out together and they talk about their current lives and this enables them to enjoy and have fun among themselves regardless of their ages. Jingu Higashi Heights (female) has a thorough safety management with the help of 24-hour security surveillance. Every year, the number of students who wish to stay in the dormitories and apartment houses increases and there are plenty of them who failed to get a place to stay here. In such cases, we introduce them some other locations to stay. The rents range from 35,000 yen to 60,000 yen per month.
