A thousand cures...No one cure. In The Hague mitigation and adaptation actions are integrated in a great number of other plans and instruments such as:

Water storage

In The Hague many areas are densely build up. Water can’t always seep enough into the ground and not always there is room for a dual sewage system. To create the necessary water storage we’ve build 13 underground storm water basins and numerous sewage storage basins (like this one underneath Huygens park).
