Is this room… underground? Or above ground?

Idea tree

How could you take this

one step further?

What could the roots be?

Think about what you have

done so far

Think about how many

branches you can create

from your idea or theme

e.g.

People > friend >

together yet apart

Places

Take a theme and develop it further using the tree

Page 5: Together and Apart - TREE DEVELOPMENT

Add branches on to

each A.O.

e.g. How could you

develop your work?

How could you record

observations?

How could you

experiment?

How could we relate the tree to Assessment

Arne Quinze takes matters into his own hands with

a new public art installation, The Sequence, designed to promote urban interaction by connecting the Flemish Parliament with the House of Flemish

Representatives in Brussels. If you can't change government from within,

why not do a makeover on the outside? The wood and concrete

installation, officially opening November 16 and projected to remain

for at least five years, works as a prompt for communication as people

walk through it. The physical connection between the government neighbours is also a symbolic one that

is meant to reflect Quinze's philosophy.
