August 12th from 2-4pm here at the church. Everyone is invited

JOY GROUP has a stage show planned for Sunday afternoon,

August 19 at the Delphi Opera House – Over the River and

Through the Woods. Watch for the sign-up sheet for this event.

Cost is $11.00 and is due July 29. Someone still needs to

volunteer to do the Christmas party in November. See Mary

Goldsberry or Jeanne Sisson soon to volunteer.

Graham will be having a Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser. Dinner

is from 6-7:30 PM followed by entertainment from 7:30-9 PM.

This is a great way to show support for the newest missionary

to our FBC family!

WORKERS NEEDED for “Kids in Christ” program that starts in

September. This program will kick off with a fun festive start

Sunday, September 9th and will meet every Sunday following.

PRAISE THE LORD BIBLE STUDY is starting a new book

August 1st entitled, Respectable Sins written by Jerry Bridges.

He states:

“The motivation for this book stems from a growing conviction

that those of us whom I call conservative evangelicals may

have become so preoccupied with some of the major sins of our

society around us we have lost our need to deal with our more

‘refined’ or subtle sins.”

What could these subtle sins be? Please come and join us as

we study about this topic Wednesday mornings from 9:30-11am.

The cost of the book is $11.50. The book includes the lesson

and the study guide. Contact Jean Roberts for more info.
