NEED PRAYER?

Jesus came to Earth because we’re in a mess that we cannot clean-up on our own. We need Him. We need one an-other. We need to connect with Him!

Jesus asks us to pray because not only does God speak, but He listens too! He hears our prayers! If you’d like prayer or have a situation that’s heavy on your heart, there are a number of ways we can pray for you and with you:

1) Elders are available for personal and private prayer after the service (to the left of the stage) and during the week (by appointment).

2) Write out your request on a Con-nect Card and put it in the offering or donation slot in the lobby.

3) Send us your request online at www.parksidechurch.ca/prayer and choose for it to be sent to any one or more of the following: Elders (con-fidential); Facebook Group (private group of Parksiders); or our e-mail list (comprised of Parksiders).

BUILDING IMPROVEMENTSOur council has a number of interior projects to accomplish this year including installing acoustic panels in Auditorium, paint-ing the Auditorium, finishishing the furnishing of the Fireside Room and Lobby, plus other small projects. All these projects share the same purposes: to make our building more welcom-ing, more useful for mid-week events and rentals, and make us more effective. Would you consider giving above and beyond your regular contributions to “Building Improvements”? Thank you for your consideration and participation.

GOOD FRIDAY SERVICEWe are gathering with other churches at Cedar Valley Mennonite Church on Good Friday at 10:00am to re-member and proclaim our Lord’s death. It’s a beautiful time of unity for the church of Mission.

AN EASTER DEVOTIONALAs we countdown the weeks to Easter, our very own Rhonda Berkhiem has written a devotional to be used each Sunday as a way to reflect on the beauty and transformation the events of Easter provide us today. Each Sunday, we will highlight the stones that Jesus rolls away when we follow Him in faith! Pick up your devotional at the back.
