Lesson for Easter Sunday1. Bible story: John 20:1-18: Mary

Magdalene discovers empty tomb first, then Peter and John run to discover empty tomb. UNBELIVABLE NEWS! Jesus is alive!

2. How do we know something is true, believable? By hearing it from those we trust (parents); reading it in the Bible; other sources like TV/newspapers; God confirms it in our hearts (knowledge-feeling-action).

3. What does salvation mean? God wants us to live with God forever. Because Jesus died for our sins, if we believe in Jesus, we will live with Him forever-it’s God’s promise.

4. Memory Verse: If you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised from the dead, you will be saved: from sin, from Satan, from dying without God.
