COLOR REPORTFALL/WINTER 2014-2015

Letter from the Editor

Every year a different group of colors is selected to be our guides, to

influence our daily lives, and to take us on a journey. This year the palettes

range from dark, invasive tones of gray with pops of brights to rich earth

tones that provide a feeling of comfort and home. We also see

tones of soft pastels that touch on an etheral feeling of escaping to another place which is quickly

opposed with a palette of vibrant colors, creating an undeniably kinetic energy. No matter what the season

may be, we can always expect some thing new and this year is no

different. I for one am excited to see how these colors are interpretted and what the innovative minds of

today have in store for them.
