NOTES: Upgrade park entry off Booran Road to reflect proposed entry into Marara Road Reserve Provide shared trail to rear of playground to enhance safety and amenity. Supplement with new tree planting. Retain existing playspace, shade structures and BBQ area. Additional seating areas Upgrade existing fitness station and enhance with new equipment. Develop new paths to create full pedestrian circulation system around reserve. Reinstate north-south path between Dorothy Avenue and Foch street. Reinstate eastern ovals, maintaining ‘dog off leash’ activity. Maintain existing western oval, with ‘dog on leash’ activity. Formalise car parking along Foch street to empahise tree rentention, investiagating the use of permeable surface treatments Investigate WSUD planting and drainage treatment along Foch Street parking. Provide new maintenance vehicle access from Foch Street. Install new park maintenance shed. Install new retaining wall to create slope towards oval to allow for path and viewing lawn. Potential location of new building consolidating club facilities and community spaces. Construct new cricket practice nets with 4 pitches. One pitch allowed for baseball pratice. Establish new playspaces / fitness node in north-eastern corner of reserve, should baseball relocate. New gathering/viewing space in south-eastern corner of reserve. Scout Hall building removed. New parking in place of existing building (if pavilion relocated), with access from Beatty Crescent. Light perimeter path network. Locations to be determined by lighting design.
