I remember quite vividly

at the dinner table, the family talking about all the despair and injustice in the world. Suddenly Adrian looked into my eyes and said, “So what are you doing about it?” After an uncomfortable pause I gave a feeble answer about supporting world hunger, blah, blah, blah. He seemed satisfied with my reply, but I certainly was not.

After Adrian was killed I discovered much about the kind of person he really was—kind and caring, and well beyond his years in understanding global affairs, human rights, and social justice. There was much he would have accomplished in our world.

In his memory and the spirit of his short life the Adrian Maxson Scholarship for Social Justice was established. Please consider a donation to this important and relevant scholarship with a tax-deductable gift.

lished at Weber State University for students
