Growing resilient local economies

An:uncertain:global:economic:outlook:means:local:economic:activity:needs:to:be:maximised.:Recent:decisions:have:made:this:even:more:difficult:as:public:expenditure:cuts:have:resulted:in:the:reduction:and:closure:of:many:vital:public:services.:These:cuts:are:producing:false:economies.:Less:public:money:being:spent:in:communities:is:less:money:spent:in:local:businesses:in:these:very:communities.:The:closure:of:a:school:can:lead:to:the:closures:of:local:bakeries,:coffee:shops:and:convenience:stores.:We:will:reverse:this:trend:to:see:public:investment:targeted:to:maximise:local:economic:activity:and:revitalise:our:town:and:villages.:
